Tom McCutcheon walked into the show pen on what appeared to be a very relaxed and confident three-year-old, Bob Stinner's Major Jesse. As the handsome son of Major Vaquero out of Jesses Affair began his pattern #8 with four spins to the left, you realized why this horse was so cool, calm and collected. He knew exactly what McCutcheon wanted - and he delivered throughout the pattern. The judges rewarded this talented pair with the high score of the day and first go round: 223.5 Todd Bergen was just a half point behind McCutcheon on Vaughn Zimmerman's Skeets Little Peppy - a definite contender. Skeets Little Peppy is by Skeets Peppy and out of Mia Colonel Quixote.
