Sarah Johnson, riding Craig Johnson's Doc Santa Belle (Colonels A Doc x Young Santa Belle) was the Reserve Champion with a composite score of 425. Catherine Clark earned a composite of 424.5, which placed her in a tie for third with Mike Garnett. Clark rode her Smart Lookin Whizard (Whizard Jac x Bar S Smart Lookin). Garnett rode Replacement Kid (The Great Kid x Solanos Skip Brick). 425 Is The Cut-Off For The Cinch NRHA Non Pro Futurity Finals The two qualifying go rounds of the NRHA/Cinch Non Pro Futurity were history on Tuesday evening, December 2. It took a 425 composite to make the clean slate Finals scheduled for Friday, December 5th. The top composite scores from the second go round, first section held. Jose Vazquez, riding Sugar Like Juice (Smart Like Juice x Smart Sugar Pop) scored a 432 composite to a tie with Sarah Hunt riding Heat On The Street (Reminic x Smart Dolly Olena). Intermediate Non Pro Division Sarah Hunt, riding Heat on the Street (Reminic x Smart Dolly Olena) stayed at the top of the class in the Intermediate Non Pro Division with a composite of 432. Quincy Cahill, riding Boomon N Seven (Boomernic x Seven S Catalpa), held on to second place with a 431. Cassie Simpson and her Limited Non Pro Futurity Champion, Breezy Lena, will be heading to the Intermediate and Non Pro Finals! They have a composite 429.5. Open Futurity Leaders After Second Go - Second Section The last section of the second go round was scheduled for Wednesday morning. These are the scores to beat. With a composite of 445, Scott McCutcheon remains the leader on MC Mega (Marthas Mega Jac x BH Song And Dance). Tim McQuay, riding his own Silk N Hollywood, scored a 223.5 with his second ride, earning a composite 444 which moved him into tie second place with Craig Schmersal riding Timorie Budge' Tazmanian Sailor (Cee Blair Sailor/Senoritas Sue). Dean Brown, riding Hickory Smoked Chex for Angela Bartel and Rod Needham has a composite score of 443, which has him leading the Intermediate Open Division. Corey Hendrickson's composite of 437 on Heza Sure Whiz (Topsail Whiz x Im Not Blonde) has him sitting tied for second with Justin Mathison riding Diamante Del Cielo (Gallo Del Cielo x CC Diamond Girl) for Amber Slaughenhaupt. Mathison is leading the Limited Open Division standings. Cody Sapergia, riding Wright On Loomis for David Goodchild is tied for second with Greg Hall riding Steadys Baby (Steady Tradition x RQH Baby Ruth) owned by Greg and Mary Ann Hall.
