Van Luse, riding Barbara Hunter's Dunnies Prescription, maintained his lead in both the Intermediate and Limited Open divisions with his score of 220.5. Dunnies Prescription looked confident - very sure of himself - as Van guided him through NRHA pattern #8. Dunnies Prescription is by Dun It With A Twist and out of Chics Sompen. Dean Brown and Hickory Smoked Chex, owned by Angela Bartel and Rod Needham, maintained second place in the Intermediate Open with a score of 220. Diamante Del Cielo, ridden by Justin Mathison for Amber Slaughenhaupt is second in the Limited Open standings. Diamante Del Cielo is by Gallo Del Cielo and out of CC Diamond Girl.

NRHA Cinch Non Pro Futurity Go Round Leaders

Kelle Smith's 219.5 earned aboard Chexanicki in the first go round, first section, held to the completion of the go round. Chexanicki, owned by Sam Smith, is by Bueno Chexinic and out of Fancy Footwork. Mandy McCutcheon remains tied for second place with Dr. Jim Morgan. Both riders scored a 218.5. Mandy was the pilot aboard Blow Pop by Lil Ruf Peppy and out of Jiffy Pop. Dr. Jim guided his Hesa Dun Smart Listo by Listo Pollito Lena and out of Dun It Sliding.

Intermediate And Limited Non Pro Leaders

Nelle Murphy and Mike Hancock are tied for first in the Intermediate Non Pro Futurity standings with a score of 217.5. Nelle rode Genuine Mate by Smart Mate and out of Genuine Starlet while Hancock guided Kanosha Ten Whiz by Hangten Peppy and out of Ebony Whiz. Dale Bicknell, riding Whizard Done It by Whizard Jac and out of Tuff As Footwork, scored a 216 to take the lead in the Limited Non Pro Division. Sarah Johnson, riding Craig Johnson's Doc Santa Belle by Colonels A Doc and out of Young Santa Belle, is sitting second with a 215.5.

Slider - the new NRHA mascot - actually ran an NRHA pattern in yesterday's performance! It was a plus 1 pattern all the way! An International meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 3 and international reiners are here in great numbers - "Whoa" is truly heard around the world.

The ancillary classes start on Wednesday with the last class of the year in the 2003 NRHA Saddlesmith Non Pro Series. That class will run concurrently with the Intermediate Non Pro Division. Bi Terra Quarter Horses is hosting Casino Night on Thursday, December 4 and the Texas Reining Horse Association is sponsoring the NRHyA Youth Dance scheduled for Friday, December 5. Our members make a difference and add so much to the excitement of NRHA's premier event for three-year-old reining horses and NRHA super-star competitors.
